Sizewell C eyed by centrica?
British Gas owner Centrica is reportedly to have plans to join EDF in assisting the Sizewell C nuclear power station in Suffolk.
According to Daily Mail, Centrica has arranged to take a stake in the project which is currently at a stage to appeal to new investors.
A couple of days ago, some of the UK’s largest unions sent a letter to the Business Secretary informing the future of the plant will be in danger if the government slows a government investment decision (GID).
The British Government has already said it will take a 20 percent stake in the planned Sizewell C nuclear power project.
Ministers had already devoted £100m for the expansion of the Sizewell C nuclear plant.
